The Interview Season Pass | 2027 Match

You Do Not Have to Do This Season Alone

The inbox you check at 2 a.m. The program that went quiet. The forum thread that makes you feel behind.

The Season Pass is a short briefing every week until Match Day on March 19, 2027, from a former residency selection committee member, written for exactly the week you are in. It comes with the book The Interview Season.

What It Is, Exactly

How the Season Pass Works

01

Your copy of the book, The Interview Season, complimentary

Every Pass begins with our book: the complete guide to interview season, written from the selection committee seat and grounded in NRMP data. It is yours to keep, and it is where the season's strategy starts.

02

The Reader Toolkit, ready to fill in

Every template from the book as its own fill-in document, so you never start from a blank page: the invitation reply template, letter of interest template, update letter template, mentor advocacy request template, one-page advocacy brief template, draft mentor note template, thank-you note template, and letter of intent template, plus a rank list worksheet and the SOAP kit checklist. The Match Season Calendar and Invite Tracker comes with it. Save them to your phone to fill in, or print them.

03

One payment covers the season

No subscription and no renewal. Your briefings begin the week you join, and every earlier briefing is waiting in your private archive.

04

A briefing arrives every week

A short email from InsideTheMatch@nmndigitalconsulting.com, about 25 in all, holiday weeks included. Each one is written for the week you are living in: where the process stands, what is worth your attention, and what you can set aside.

05

The briefings match the actual interview season calendar timeline

Interview invitations in October and November. Letters of interest and mentor advocacy. Thank-you notes and the rules after the interview. The rank list in February. Match Week and SOAP in March.

06

A half-off guest pass for one colleague

Share the season with one person in your cohort. Your guest code gives them the Season Pass at half price, and it is waiting on your download page.

07

It ends on Match Day

The last briefing arrives the week of March 19, 2027. No recurring charge, ever.

From Briefing 1

Week of September 28 | A short excerpt

If your inbox has been quiet, that is normal. If you already have an invitation, that is good news. Neither one tells you how your season will end.

From the Committee Side

The people reading your file this month are also seeing patients, teaching, and answering pages. Review happens in batches, often late at night, between other things. I know how slow that feels from where you sit. It is also the reason silence right now almost always means "not yet," and very rarely means "no."

This is only a small part of Briefing 1. The full briefing also covers what to do this week, what to set down, and one number worth keeping. Every briefing is short enough to read in five minutes.
An Honest Fit

Who This Is For

The Pass is for you if

  • You are an international medical graduate applying in the 2027 Match, including Caribbean medical school graduates, U.S. citizens and non-U.S. citizens alike.
  • You have submitted ERAS and are heading into interview season.
  • You want steady, week-by-week direction from someone who has sat on the committee side.
  • You want clear direction in writing, a few minutes a week, on your own schedule.

It is not for you if

  • You want someone to rewrite your application. That is the Application Intensive.
  • You are looking for a guaranteed match. No honest advisor can promise one.
  • You are not applying this cycle. The briefings follow the 2027 calendar.
  • You want daily messages or a group chat. This is one short briefing a week.

"Effort, aimed well, is almost always rewarded. You chose a path whose purpose is to help people at their most vulnerable. There is no nobler work. The waiting is the tax every physician pays on the way in."
